DESTINATION GUIDE
GOHA had the honor of hosting the official Winterfest 2010 at Chamonix City, December 10-18th, 2010.
Winterfest organizers included: SL residents Jack Belvedere, Katia Ixtab, Ashlene McMinnar, Marjan
Tomba, Dyz Warburton, Kalita Magic, Lancelot Skytower, Tangle Giano, Lobo Rodriquez,
Janieke Blanchard, Anhayla Lycia, and Linden Lab employees Blondin, Courtney, Michael, Torley and Delby Linden. They organized the many
activities such as the Ski Jump, Scavenger/Puck Hunt, Snowman Building
Contest, musical acts, scheduling, new player training, and building at
the sims.
Winterfest 2010 had an incredible lineup of fantastic live musicians. Participating musicians: Mankind
Tracer, Noma Falta, Guitar Zane, Andreus Gustafson, The Follow, Reggie
Sunset, Jimmyt49 Dukes, CCTV Giant, Tamra Sands, XanderNichting Writer,
Skye Galaxy, Jean Munro, Keiko Takamura, Phemie Alcott, CraigLyons
Writer, TwinGhost Ronas, Louis Volare, Dann Numbers, Lance Rembrandt,
Buckley Moonwall, Maximillion Kleene (original GOHArian!), David
Csiszer, Mimi Carpenter, and Edward Kyomoon.
Other events included: Live DJ Bonfire parties were a great relaxing end to several evenings, provided by Ashlene McMinnar/Merrik Caproni, and DJ Mac Ronas from The Underground. The Puckettes cheerleaders and manager Kayden Piers provided for fantastic performances and coming out to cheer on the teams during the Open Hockey games. Lobo Rodriquez organized a fantastic All-Star's Hockey Game, Merrik Caproni made uniforms for the event, and TreetTV filmed it live. Various sports managers came to the Meet-and-Greet to help
promote sports inside SL.
